The Pastime presents Tuesday film program featuring The Burden Bearer with Arthur Johnson and Vivian Pates. Vivian Pates plays Agnes, two brothers in love. Florence Hackett voices adventurous heroine who becomes entangled with Dudley and naval officer Johnson. Also Belela Becomes a Lady and With Eyes of the Blind starring Vita staph Edison Mary Fuller and James Horton. Broncho Billy's Way promises dramatic story. The theater will add a sanitary drinking fountain this week.
A three reel Civil War drama A House Divided runs Monday and Tuesday with fast action and lively battles. The cast promises realism in military maneuvers. An O14 Panatina comedy and Pinch Hand skit add visual appeal. Miss Gladys Eahe delivers a soprano solo. An air exhaustion device claims to purge 230 cubic feet of air per minute, promising cool, pure air for crowded interiors.
At the Grand in Pendleton the Togeal Musical Comedy Co performs a new chorus oriented show tonight titled Finnegan's Troubles. The girls promise hard work for a prize. a chorus contest is set after each show with a Friday night finale. Tomorrow features a new bill and the venue bills itself as a good place to spend the evening.
