Waterways convention opens with delegates from many towns

The fourth annual Columbia and Snake River Waterways Association convened with delegates from Portland Lewiston Pasco Walla Walla Richland Kennewick Umatilla Pilot Rock Hermiston and others. Officials met at the Commercial Club Pendleton to revise by laws discuss river boat operations and hear speeches on inland waterway transportation including Panama Canal relations and the impact on Pacific Coast development.
