Esther De Boer Weds Casey Van Weelden in Pella
Esther De Boer daughter of Mr and Mrs Peter De Boer of Pella married Casey Van Weelden son of Mr and Mrs John Hi Van Weelden of New Sharon on August 29 at the Second Christian Church in a double ring ceremony before 280 guests. Rev Bernard T Haan officiated as gold and bronze arrangements decorated the altar. The bride wore white nylon organza with lace and pearls and a veil, and carried a white and gold bouquet. Judy Lauck and Lois Molin were attendants. Leroy Van Weelden and John Van Weelden served as best man with ushers and a reception followed in church parlors. The couple will live near New Sharon after a western states wedding trip. the bride will work at Mahaska County Hospital in Oskaloosa and the groom farms.

The Van Sitterts plan a future visit to Eastonville Illinois to see their daughter and family. Mr and Mrs Abe De Zwarte and Mrs Cecil Terpstra and Mrs Henry Van Oenen were Des Moines visitors Sunday to see their sister and aunt, Mrs Wm Shinkel, ill at Methodist Hospital.
