Hunter's Cigarette Believed To Start Farm Fires Near Knoxville
A hunter's cigarette is believed to have started a fire eight miles north of Knoxville on Primary 14 near a weed patch. The blaze damaged corn and fencing on the Loren Stevenson and Griffith Mikesell farms. Dry conditions hindered fighting efforts and a field was largely inaccessible to fire trucks. Neighbors used tractors to create a furrow and halt the spread. The Bruere couple farm the land. Stevenson is a Knoxville real estate man.

It mentions Sweden’s coat of arms spoon gift, Sunnyside Frat joy, autumn scenery, and musings on time from Adams Longfellow and Warren, ending with a note on time as a precious jewel and the eagle symbol of supremacy in ten countries.
