New Book Shows 1950 Census Impact on Iowa Government
A new study from the Institute of Public Affairs at the State University of Iowa explains how the 1950 census will affect Iowa state county and municipal government. Dean Zoner authors the work using September census figures to discuss reapportionment representation taxes and officials’ duties across cities towns and counties. Copies were mailed to public officials libraries and newspapers in Iowa.
