Knoxville Drum Corps Heads to Boston for Legion Convention
Knoxville Iowa Oct 6 with several hundred people and the New ton drum and bugle corps present bid farewell as the Knoxville drum corps left Saturday evening for Boston for the national American Legion convention. The parade was among the largest in Legion history with bands drum corps drill teams floats and other displays before judges. Fort Dodge Mason City Webster City and others joined the Iowa contingent. The Knoxville five minute exhibition drew applause then the group of 42 men packed their car for the trip.
