The sale of two farms in Poweshiek County has been completed. An eight acre tract known as the Alee Jack farm, owned by Equitable Life Insurance, was sold to Homer Girard north of Malcolm, with Gilmore and Crawford handling the transaction. The second sale covers a 160 acre farm owned by Mutual Benefit Life Company.
