Body of Robert McDonald Found Near Pella Bridge
The 31 year old Des Moines River drowning victim, Robert McDonald, a Veterans Hospital employee, was retrieved Friday near the Pella road bridge after a boat capsized the prior Thursday night near Coalport. His wife and two children survive. Charles Trible id and fellow fishermen were in the overturned boat.

Marion County 4 H Girls Camp at Lake Ahquabi
About 80 girls will attend a four day outdoor camp June 2 to 5 at Lake Ahquabi with Marion Monroe and Clark County 4 H girls. Marion clubs may send two girls each. Activities include recreation crafts hikes and camp fires with vesper services and outdoor cookouts.
