Mrs Theo Emmert hosted the Methodist Ladies Aid with many guests. Local families from Killduff Newton Reasnor and Colfax attended events, birthdays, dinners, and school notices. A Lee of Tulip Time, a Wabash freight wreck, and school closings are noted alongside visits, illness, and community gatherings.
Leighton club meeting at Mrs John Veenstra home with 22 members. Tribute to Mother heard, lesson on Wild Flowers and Birds Around My Home led by Mrs G De Cook. Contests and spelling match entertained. refreshments served. Next meeting to be at Joe Brummelton.
