Teachers Club Tours High School Picnic at Pool Park
About 44 members of the Pella Teachers Club and 41 guests attended a potluck picnic at Swimming Pool Park last Wednesday evening. The group enjoyed food and fellowship, with Otley teachers present. A quick tour of the new high school followed, led by elementary supervisor Roy J. Reith and assisted by Bertha Van Zante, Faith Waal, and Howard Bell.

Camp Fire program changes outlined by Hawkeye Council official
Miss Virginia Lee Cunningham, assistant executive director, presented fall changes to Camp Fire ranks at two May meetings. Beginning this fall ranks will be on a school year basis and last spring promotions will end. Fourth graders may reach Trail Seeker this year by summer meetings, two summer sessions with a fall completion, or starting Wood Gatherers in September, plus beads and Indian name symbolism were explained.
