Notice to contractors bids will be received for erecting a school house for the Valley School District in Lake Prairie Township Marion County Iowa. Bids filed in the office of Geo. G. Gnass Pella according to plans and specifications.
Iowa bidders must submit bids by June 5 1926 at 2:00 p m with plans available in Pella Iowa for $10 refundable on return. Successful bidder must furnish a $2800 bond for faithful performance as required by the Board of Directors. P Lubberden secretary Valley School District.

Prof Sadler presented Miss Wilhelmine Meyer in her senior piano recital at the chapel hall Thursday evening. She offered a program of Rubinstein, Schubert, Grieg, Reinberger, Weber, Sinding, Chopin and Liszt with special praise for Weber concerto where Prof Sadler played second piano. Meyer, a Bachelor of Music candidate, has studied under Sadler at Central Conservatory and is pianist for the Girls Glee Club. Afterward Prof and Mrs Sadler hosted a two hour class reception at Sunnyside with a two course luncheon, a decorative class cake, and tulip favors.
