Practical ideas for learning to use money
Thoughtful parents share simple ways to teach children money values. A 16 year old saves by budgeting for meals and keeping the surplus. a mother notes an eight year old saves and trades toys, with a family council to value items. A 12 year old participates in Boy Scout sales, delivering orders with an account sheet. Practical ideas teach thrift more effectively than lectures.
