The Grandman lime pit, now led by Lloyd McCabe of Knoxville in partnership with Ray Zeck, runs a high quality, impurity free stone with strong lime content. Angus breeders held a successful sale at the Marion County Fair Grounds in Knoxville on Monday April 28. More than sixty Angus cattle were offered with top price of 400 for a Harvey farm heifer. Donald Van Hansen sold a heifer for 235. Harold or Meer also sold cows with calves and heifers at favorable prices.
