Sally Rev and Mrs R A De Jong attended the funeral of his uncle Peter De Jong in Pella Friday afternoon. Mrs Bert Van Roekel underwent major surgery at the Lutheran hospital in Des Moines last Wednesday. A daughter was born to Mr and Mrs William Huysey Thursday morning. Mr and Mrs F J De Jong and family visited John De Jong’s home Sunday. Other guests in the afternoon were Mr and Mrs Jon Ey sink Norma and Ernest. Mr and Mrs Oscar Holdsworth were Pella visitors last Thursday afternoon. Mr and Mrs B Heemsbergen and family visited with Mr and Mrs Gerrit Loff near Newton Friday. Anne Wisgerhof and Mrs M C Mhenny of Goldfield and Mrs Worth Jansen of Des Moines were Saturday evening supper guests of Dr and Mrs C B Welle. Mrs Case Vis of Chicago was a Sunday dinner guest of Mr and Mrs B P Huyser. Other guests in the afternoon were Roy Kimmel and Arthur Van Dyk of Pella, Mr and Mrs Peter Rozendaal.
