Mr and Mrs Kenneth Kooyman and family spent a February weekend with Wally Kooyman in Moline Illinois. Arthur Hoekman moved to Pella from New Sharon and bought a home at 1330 Broadway. A J Kleinjan of Paramount Calif died Thursday March 1. He was a brother in law to Mary Vogelaar and sister of Ben and Gary Vogelaar and Mrs Vander Linden. Services were March 5 at Emanuel Ref church Paramount with burial at Rosehill cemetery. He was an implement and hardware dealer in Durant Iowa for years. The Kleinians lived in California for 16 years and had no children. Elvon Holle announces engagement of Mary to Rolland Vander Zyl of route 2 Pella. wedding planned for early summer.

Hammesfahr, daughter of Mr and Mrs Arnold Hammesfahr of Wallkill N Y, has studied with Edith Sedrel Le Cocq and is active in the music department Chapel Choir and Mu Gamma Pi. A reception will follow in the Student Union.

Mr. and Mrs. Adam Terpstra of 1112 Liberty Street marked their 55th anniversary with family gatherings Monday and Tuesday evenings this week.
