The Old Reformed Church at Kingston New York closed its 126th session by electing lay Elder Dr Edward Dimnent of Holland Michigan as Vice President. Meanwhile Brooklyn lawyer George Tiffany headed the New York Particular Synod as President. Delegates numbered 196, with a strong stance for prohibition law enforcement and reverence for law. The Pension Fund boosted minster stipends and widows benefits, and the Washington Bicentennial service honored the nation and church. The centennial of the Board of Foreign Missions was celebrated amid international greetings, while debates addressed economy and governance across the denomination.
