Judge Van der Ploeg ruled Ackworth and Warren county may not tax land of ten acres or more used exclusively for agriculture to meet a town electric bond issue. The decision hinges on a 1924 law exempting agricultural land within original town plats, signaling heavier taxes on nonfarm property and affecting future small-town bond plans.
