An August Iowa State Fair horses display promises one of the finest records. Several barns are filled and entries loom large for an unusually good exhibit. Entries must be in by August su the secretary needs time to catalogue. Horses will be shown each forenoon after Monday in the new Live Stock Pavilion. Exhibitors wear numbers matching the catalogue. A large bulletin board will show winners’ numbers after each class. Seats in the Stock Pavilion are free and daily attendance is encouraged.

He tends stock and crops, pays taxes, and produces wholesome food without relying on bogus mortgages or radical upheaval. While favoring tariff reform irrigation support and fair rail terms, he seeks open competition and unity between capital and labor to sustain long term prosperity.
