Washington June 5 As result of a sweeping post office inquiry Thos W McGregory clerk in charge of supplies for rural free delivery and Ellsworth Upton of Baltimore two assistants were arrested for conspiracy with Charles E Smith of Baltimore to defraud the government in leather pouches for rural carriers. Seven arrests have been made in the inquiry with more expected. Bristow says the trio sought orders for thousands of pouches at 90 cents each while actual value is under 50 cents.
