Across the Back Fence mid July column notes
A reflective mid July Across the Back Fence column shares summer scenes at a Duchess apple tree, garden colors, and local talk. It recalls a pleasant morning chorus from a Bobwhite, mentions a coffee visit with Rev and Mrs Pinches, praises an English style garden, and highlights Paul's Scarlet roses. Also includes an unbaked cereal cookie recipe from Mrs Poortinga and reader encouragements.
