Central Graduates Wed In Prairie City Nuptials

Miss Ardis Van Peursen and Ga Vande Kamp wed Friday evening at the First Reformed Church of Prairie City in a double ring ceremony officiated by Rev. D W Vriesman. Attendants wore pink and white gowns, with bouquets of white and pink flowers, and a reception followed. The couple plans to teach in Newton after a summer home in Minnesota, then future residence in Newton.

Des Moines Couple Weds in Candlelight Ceremony

Miss Shirley Ann Bolt of Des Moines Iowa and Mr Kenneth Havert of Newark New York exchanged marriage vows Thursday June 6 at 7:45 pm in a candlelight service at Des Moines Christian Reformed Church. Organist Kathy Kallemyn played as Allan Jongsma and Calvin Bolt seated guests. Candies were lit by ushers and Mrs Kallemyn accompanied Mrs William.

Richland Rustlers Tour Highlights Community Visit

The Richland Rustlers 4-11 club toured on June 24 starting at the Vande Voort home with George Jess and Glen. They visited Keith Nollen and then Larry and Jimmie Engbers, noting purebred litters and corn acres. After lunch at Pete Vos and a ball game at Pooria School, they enjoyed ice cream. a joyful gathering amid gifts for those absent.
