Symphonic Band In First Concert Of Year Feb 18
The Central College Symphonic Band, a 68 member group, will open the year with a concert on Saturday February 18 at 8 15 p m in the Central College auditorium. The program includes Der Freischutz Overture and selections from Flower Drum Song, Honors Day March, Symphonic Suite by Williams, Overture for Winds by Carter, and the Ogden Nash Suite with Prof Laurence Grotters as baritone. Fans of band music are invited to attend.
