Genoa Millionaire Lived Poor Despite Vast Estate
Giovanni Battista Devoto, eighty three, owner of 100 Genoa apartment houses, died recently. Known as a millionaire who lived as a pauper, he left no local relatives, though kin in America are said to be wealthy. The death scene showed a cluttered house with furniture and antiques piled in the rooms.

Mail Robbery Loot Found in Refrigerator Car
Post Office Inspector W Pfaffenberger discovered in an ice bunker of a refrigerator car two hundred thousand dollars in canceled checks and other mail including money orders. Most checks were drawn on the National Bank of San Antonio. Loot believed from a mail pouch stolen at Seguin in September and left in the ice bunker after the thief took valuables. Found by a car Inspector at La Veta.

Dover War Harbor to Be Used for Commerce
Dover harbor, built 1901 to 1908 at 25 million, once a wartime HQ for the Dover patrol, covers 610 acres and housed destroyers and cruisers that convoyed troops and munitions to France during 1914 to 1918, now handed to the Dover harbor board for commercial use.
