Completing Marine Recruit Training at San Diego
Marine Pvt. Robert A. Ver Woert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Ver Woert of Route 1 Sully, completed an 11 week recruit training at the Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego California on November 30. The program covered physical fitness customs and courtesies hygiene and sanitation and basic military subjects including rifle training on the M 1 Browning automatic and .45 caliber pistol. He will report to Camp Pendleton California for further infantry training.
