Caring for Your Christmas Tree After Bringing It Home

When you bring the Christmas tree home trim at least an inch off the stump at a slight angle. Store in a cool shady place with the butt end in water and refill daily. Water the branches daily to keep the tree fresh. Do not use fire retardant additives in water. Keep away from heat sources and dispose of the tree when needles drop heavily.
