About 40 members and guests met at Second Reformed Church parlors for a General Meeting. Stormy weather prevented the speaker from New Sharon. a European trip talk with slides by Alice Carlson of Central College filled the program. Donations for Christmas baskets collected at V and R Grocery.

Mrs. Jane Smorenberg died at the Home for the Aged early Saturday December 2 1950 aged 91 years 2 months 16 days. She leaves daughter Mrs John Bosveld four grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren sister Mrs Gerrit Boertje and brother Baastian Brandt in the Netherlands. Funeral Monday at 1 30 p m from Van Dyk Funeral Home conducted by Rev H Vander Kam Second Chr Ref Church of which she was a faithful member.
