School Cooks and Officials Meet in Pella
Tri County cooks, school lunch staff, and district administrators gathered at the new Pel Community high school in Pella for a Monday evening session. State lunch supervisor E. E. Cowan led the program with E. E. Fisher and Shirley Patterson. They covered surplus commodities, menu planning, and efficient school lunch service. Administrators present included Raymond Beyers, Eldon Reutter, and C. S. Thomas, with Marion Mahaska and Jasper counties represented.
