Dairy Cattle Congress Big Feature at Waterloo Iowa
The Tenth Annual Dairy Cattle Congress will be held in Waterloo Iowa from September 22 to 28. It expects entrants from more than twenty states including California Texas Kentucky Missouri Wisconsin Minnesota New York Kansas Ohio and Iowa. The event will showcase dairy industry developments teach cow testing and purebred sire value and include cheese creamery and dairy product exhibits. A large booster meeting by the Town Dairy Council is planned with 5 000 invitations. The grounds are being expanded with 30 acres more, a 6 500 seat mammoth judging pavilion, amphitheatre, and an extended entertainment program featuring a circus and hippodrome each day.

International Belgian Horse Show scheduled for Waterloo Iowa
The first International Belgian Horse Show will be held in Waterloo Iowa September 22 28. Belgium will send a commission to buy stock to rebuild its breed. About 40 percent of US Belgians are in Iowa. Prizes total nearly $7 000 with 5500 in cash premiums. Show to be housed in three new barns a 100 by 200 foot arena and seating for 6500. Entries from major Belgian breeders in the United States and Canada.
