Peoria Notes Honor Local People And Church News
The Peoria community extends sympathy to the Van Hemert family over Jacob S. Van Dusseldorp’s death and knit together church and social events. The Lark’s Club gathered at Tom Vander Hart’s home after services, guests shared in birthdays, baptisms, and travels, including visits from Rev. Verduin family and others from Willard Grand Rapids Kalamazoo. Various members hosted, vacationed, and helped with church duties, while new pastor candidates Gordon Negen and Arthur Hoksbergen prepared moves to New Jersey and Michigan. The column closes with farewell from Mrs. John Westercamp after four years of weekly notes.
