Vets Get Guidance Center Opens At Iowa University
Occupational adjustments for war veterans will be guided by scientific psychological methods at the vocational guidance center of the University of Iowa. The center, created by the Veterans Administration, opens August 20 and will process about 20 to 26 cases monthly at first, rising to 75 to 125 as staff expands. Appointments are set through the Des Moines office.

Lena Huyser, 69, Dies at Pella Home
Lena Huyser died at her home 30 percent Franklin Street Pella shortly after midnight on Wednesday August 15 after a period of ill health. She was 69.
