Pella Considers Yucatan Project as State First
Pella eyes becoming the first Iowa community to sponsor a Yucatan linked project through the newly approved Partners of the Alliance. The program aims at grass roots US Latino cooperation, with Pella already deeply tied to Yucatan and nearby Mexican states. Dr. Harriet Heusinkveld and Central College students helped prepare library materials and cultural exchanges, including photos and drawings from Pella schoolchildren.
