Mayor Makes Good Report on City Finances and Water Extension
The annual report notes no bonds or special assessments for water mains extension and credits the council with fiscally sound financing. An emergency levy funds abutting property costs for a one year period. About fifty five blocks were completed at a reasonable cost to property owners. Gas service and surplus from the Electric Light fund are to be considered to avoid bonds and keep finances economical.
