Avon Lady Sadie Draper Marks 48 Years With Avon

Mrs. Sadie Draper of Balmorhea, born 1895 in Rockwall County, celebrates her 48th anniversary as an Avon Lady on October 27. She started selling after widowhood in 1918, walked routes without a phone or car, and later joined family members in Avon sales as a long time record holder in the United States.
