Solar plant planned for Crosbyton Texas site
E Systems of Dallas awarded a prime subcontract by Texas Tech University for a five megawatt solar power prototype in Crosbyton as part of a multi phase ERDA program. The project aims to design construct and demonstrate a solar electric power plant using the Fixed Mirror Distributed Focus concept with an estimated plant cost in the mid millions and E Systems contributing about 1.6 million.
