Gutenberg Bible to be shown in UT display case this fall
The University of Texas will publicly unveil its $2.4 million Gutenberg Bible this fall in a custom case. Monks once distrusted the printed volume, and scholars note handwritten notes and margins mark its unusual history. UT funded mostly from its coffers with help from the Chancellor's Council, and the copy remains guarded at multiple libraries until display.

Catholic mass drew about 300 attendees last Christmas, a fraction of China’s population.
