A biographical snippet recalls Jane Cameron Dameron once of 1919 Jefferson moved to Pecos in 1945 with her army family. Her daughter Zach C Cameron III, a Galveston Medical doctor, and Mrs. Dameron settled in Pecos where she teach fourth grade and compiled family recipes for Congealed Chicken Salad and Tomato Aspic.
The Twentieth Century Club heard Ed Kennedy of Midland discuss wildflowers and edible desert plants at a Wednesday meeting at Dudley Montgomery home. Bobbie McNeil will present the Oct. 17 style show at First United Methodist Church with hostesses Teri Moore and Becky Painter. New members Linda Faulkner and Jackie Gunn joined. refreshments were served by Clem Crowley, Paul Morrison, and Ray Golden.
