Drug crackdown nets 230 since midnight
In Dallas AP report federal agents arrested 58 people since Wednesday night as part of a national crackdown on Mexican heroin traffic. Swine flu vaccine expected in Pecos in November
The swine flu vaccine is due to arrive in Pecos in early November and will be available at a mass clinic on a Saturday and in private doctors offices. Children under 18 are not admitted to the mass clinic, but chronically ill patients may obtain the vaccine from their doctor. Adults with chronic disease should bring a doctor issued slip to receive the bivalent vaccine at the clinic, as it differs from the monovalent vaccine given to healthy adults.
