Assault case and thefts loom in Reeves County
Reeves County Sheriff's Department probes an assault with a deadly weapon at Round Up Bar after a 1:55 a.m. fight leaving Terry Lee Vaughn injured and treated at Reeves County Hospital. Gulf Oil thefts include eighty two barrels of crude valued at 1090 dollars from a station between Cayanosa and Pecos. An earlier ambulance call at 504 South Almond for a man possibly having a stake. Public intoxication arrests and bicycle theft in Pecos
Pecos Police arrested Kelly Delmus Crowe, 28, of 119 West Thirteenth for public intoxication at the 100 block of West Thirteenth. He was fined 83.50 dollars in municipal court. Willie James Kates, 19, of 2411 Country Club, was arrested on West Palmer Street for public intoxication and jailed until a 38.50 dollar fine is paid. A boy's bicycle was reported stolen from Guillermo Galvadon at 109 East F, with police searching for the bike after a Thursday 12:24 p.m. report. A car fire was reported eleven miles west of I-20 at 3:31 p.m. and Pecos Fire Department responded.
