Museum consultant aids West Texas groups
Side Glances notes deterioration of paper and display concerns. Wilson says ideas to organize and display materials help some groups while others need storage methods. Historical Commission consultants offer free aid to any regional museum upon request. Wilson will meet El Paso and Snyder officials and participate in Permian Basin Museum Institute open houses October 11 to 14. UT Permian Basin hosts the institute and acts as regional historical resources depository for the State Library and Archives in Austin.
