Thieu demands peace talks with Communists in Vietnam
Saigon President Nguyen Van Thieu called for separate negotiations with North Vietnam and the Viet Cong to secure a cease fire and political settlement without U.S. participation. CAP teams search Guadalupes for missing Cessna 421
Civil Air Patrol teams from Pecos and other units scoured the Guadalupe Mountains overnight for the downed Cessna 421 charter flight from Corpus Christi to Phoenix.
