Severe weather rolls eastward across southern plains to the Ohio valley
Severe weather moved east overnight from the southern Plains into the Ohio valley bringing tornadoes high winds hail and heavy rain. Fourteen tornadoes were reported Sunday night with eight in Texas three in Oklahoma and one in Illinois Missouri and Nebraska. Damaging winds were reported in several towns and flash flood warnings issued for parts of Texas and Kansas. Continuous showers and thunderstorms spread across eastern Colorado Wyoming and western Nebraska into Indiana and Illinois as the storm system moved east.
