Pecos High School names top scholars in class of 196
Pecos High School announces top graduates for the class of 196 seniors. Valedictorian Mark Smith with a 95.81 four year average and salutatorian Monya Hooker with 94.98 will speak at the graduation on Rotary Field at 8 p.m. The ceremony honors nine highest honors students and 18 with four year averages above 90.14 to 92.69, including several named seniors and staff.

Police firing cleared as Fletcher resigns before council
