The Ensign Obadiah Trim mier Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution installed officers for 1971 72. Officers named were Mrs. Darrell Glover as Regent Mrs. Edith McIlvain as Vice Regent Mrs. W G Park as Treasurer Mrs. Mildred Jones as Registrar and Mrs. Melanie Mattox as Librarian. The installation was by past Regent Mrs. Ione Stewart after a business meeting at Mrs. Edith McIlvain's home. The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and The Lord's Prayer. The registrar urged more genealogical work.
