Anderson cited for scholarship in army notice
Army Private David E. Anderson son of Judge and Mrs. J H Starley received a letter of commendation for completing a helicopter repair course as a distinguished graduate. Deaths Susan Lira
Funeral services were held for Susan Lira four year old daughter of Mr and Mrs Joel Lira of Pecos. She died Sunday night from injuries suffered in a traffic accident earlier that day. Burial was in Santa Rosa Cemetery at Santa Rosa Church. Also noted Louis XVI of France was executed on January 21 1793.
