Roll-Over Injures Sweetwater Woman in Highway Crash
Cheryl Ann Brown 21 of Sweetwater was listed in serious condition at Memorial Hospital after a one car roll over on IH 20 east of Highway 285. She veered on a curve lost control went into ditches and medians and was thrown about 40 feet from the wreckage. Investigator officers Ben Burch and Fred Parrott reported the incident occurred about 2 45 AM and Brown was en route to El Paso where her husband was registered. Three Pecos students were among 822 degrees awarded at North Texas State University this winter.

Estes Property Sold in Foreclosure After Tax Judgment
United States District Court in Pecos ordered the foreclosure and sale of the Estes family real estate and Pecos Transit Mix stock to satisfy tax liens totaling about 12 million dollars. No Ruling On Pecos-Toyah School Dispute Yet
A spokesman for the 4th Court of Civil Appeals says no ruling has been issued on the Pecos Toyah school dispute heard a year ago. The appeal, filed March 1970, stems from a County School Board annexation order upheld by the 143rd District Court. To yah school officials appealed Judge J H Starley’s ruling, with no date for a decision.
