H Beauchamp Jr district manager of Southern Union Gas Co says Pecos has completed a cleaning plant to remove impurities from gas and improve supply. Total cost for sweet gas connections and plant about 33000 dollars. The system now provides adequate sweet gas for a city three times Pecos on peak load and tests show sulfur not exceeding eight grains per 1000 cubic feet.

Eight counties convened in Pecos to establish the Texas Pink Boll Worm Fumigation and Sterilization Refund Association.
