Vehicle related fines include 26 for loose dog and 2 for taxi permit. Traffic fines totaled 665 with no driver's license 176 and speed and right of way violations 90 each.
The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals yesterday affirmed the conviction of Kenneth Gibbs in the 143rd District Court. Gibbs was found guilty over a year ago on a charge of sodomy in a case alleging sexual misconduct.
Ward County prepares negligent homicide charges against Berlin G. Whitlock driver of the Greyhound bus involved in a pre-dawn crash that killed Mrs. Tommie M. Bouldin a 61 year old Altadena resident. The bus hit a heavily loaded grain truck near Big Spring injuring several others and sending passengers to area hospitals.

Ignacio Cuevas, jailed for a 1970 murder, was returned to Reeves County Jail by Sheriff A B Nails deputy Raul Florez and a Presidio County Deputy. He was captured about 1 30 this afternoon five to six miles north of the Rio Grande after an extensive search. The FBI had pursued him on unlawful flight charges and he will be moved to Huntsville tomorrow morning.

Sheriff A B Nail's deputy Wendell Taylor arrested Lee Ralph Davis on a warrant after his indictment by the Grand Jury last Friday. Davis is charged with rape and was held on $5,000 bond.

Stephen J. Dodd, 19, held on 5000 bond in Reeves County Jail and sought by the U S Army for AWOL. He and companion Michael Brombach, 17, were involved in a street purse snatch. arrest followed a car search revealing marijuana. Dodd’s wife Terry Alley Dodd, 17, was released to her parents. All are from San Diego California.

Sam Fitzhugh who had been missing since Sunday was found in a San Angelo hotel yesterday. He had awakened his wife to prepare the children for a Midland move after resigning from the Soil Conservation Service and leaving in a 1971 cream over green LaSabre Buick. He used a local service station to fill the car before vanishing.
A 1959 light green Lincoln Premier was reported stolen from the driveway at 912 West 7th Street. Police say the keys were left in the car and it contained about a quarter tank of gas after being taken on Tuesday night.
