Bald eagles sent to Lufkin Zoo from Rusk County
Two fledgling American bald eagles found Monday at the Summitt Oaks Center in Rusk County are now nesting at the Lufkin zoo. The birds, about two weeks old, were found in a plastic container during a routine extinguisher check and were confiscated by Rusk County game warden Frank Hudson.
