Texaco completes prolific Wolfcamp strike in Loving County
Texaco Inc reports No 1 Damsite Unit a Wolfcamp gas discovery in Loving County about 11 miles northeast of Orla and four miles north of Silurian gas production in the M A J field. It showed an absolute open flow of 86.562 MMcf per day with a gas liquid ratio of 1,000,000 to 1 and 63 degree gravity.Completion used perforations 12,137 to 12,199 feet after 10,000 gallons of acid treated pay. Top of Wolfcamp at 10,580 feet under 2,977 feet derrick floor elevation. Located 1,320 feet from north and east lines of section 9, block 56, T-1, T&P survey.
