Pecos City eyes $22 million water sewer plan with park revamp

City officials outlined a multi entity $22 million package to upgrade water and sewer lines, replace 50 of 75 hydrants downtown, and pursue a wastewater reclamation plant for Maxey Park. They expect 12-18 months for water and sewer work before street projects start, with bids likely lower due to project scale.

Wolf Spiders Eye Arrangement and Behavior

Wolf spiders use eight eyes arranged in three rows for sharp vision while hunting and scanning for predators. They carry their egg sac attached to the abdomen until hatching, after which hundreds of young ride on the mother. Their dull coloration provides camouflage aiding ambush predation and predator protection. They hunt quick, feed on small invertebrates, and inhabit diverse habitats including human dwellings. Their venom is present but typically harmless to humans.
